PREPARATION
• Thoroughlyinspecttheareawherethe equipmentis to beused.
Removeall stones,sticks,wire,bones,toys andother foreign
objectswhichcould betrippedoveror pickedupandthrownby
the blade.Thrownobjectscan causeseriouspersonalinjury.
• Alwayswear safetyglassesor safetygogglesduringoperation
andwhile performingan adjustmentor repairto protectyoureyes.

eyes.
• Wearsturdy,rough-soledworkshoesandclose-fittingslacks
and shirts.Shirtsand pantsthatcoverthe armsandlegsand
steel-toedshoesare recommended.Neveroperatethis machine
inbarefeet,sandals,slipperyor lightweight(e.g.canvas)shoes.
• Neverattemptto makeanyadjustmentswhilethe engineis
running,exceptwherespecificallyrecommendedinthe operator's
manual.
SAFE HANDLING OF GASOLINE:
Toavoidpersonalinjuryorpropertydamageuse extremecarein
handlinggasoline.Gasolineis extremelyflammableandthe vaporsare
explosive.Seriouspersonalinjurycanoccurwhengasolineis spilled
on yourselforyour clotheswhichcan ignite. Washyourskinand
changeclothesimmediately.
• Useonly anapprovedgasolinecontainer.
• Neverfill containersinsidea vehicleoron a truckortrailer bed
witha plasticliner.Alwaysplacecontainerson the groundaway
fromyourvehiclebeforefilling.
• Removegas-poweredequipmentfromthe truckortrailerand
refuelit onthe ground.Ifthisis notpossible,then refuelsuch
equipmenton atrailerwitha portablecontainer,ratherthanfrom
a gasolinedispensernozzle.
• Keepthe nozzleincontactwiththe rim of the fueltankor
containeropeningat all timesuntilfuelingis complete.Donot use
a nozzlelock-opendevice.
